Dakota Alert cable alarm is used to secure firearms, purses, jewelry, or other portable objects that are on retail display. It operates on one 9V battery. Three 3 foot 4 inch cables with RCA connectors included. When a connector is separated and loop is broken, the alarm box will sound in either "alarm" or "alert" mode. "Alarm" mode sounds alarm until key is turned to off position. "Alert" mode sounds alarm until the loop is unbroken.
