More hype than performance
Pros:
Lightweight.
Cons:
Not durable.
Bolts come thru plastic .
seat not comfortable .
I am nowhere close to the 500 lb limit, however after a few weeks use the bolts, on the seat, are coming through the plastic seat. This is extremely irritating, to my posterior! I bought the package of 2 seats & both did the same thing!

Unsure if this chair would actually hold 500 lbs; might want to get bigger size. I am 300 lbs and when I sit down the chair squeaks and squeals and makes me think it is not going to support me. However, no other problems -- it is quite comfortable, and very easy to assemble, love the style. Service was great!; and fast!
