2", 4", and 6" Heights - Standard & Elongated
The Contoured Tall-Ette Elevated Toilet Seat easily attaches to standard or elongated toliets to help those persons who have trouble bending their knees or not having the power to standup from low positions. Contoured surface provides a more comfortable and supportive seat. The Tall-Ette elevated toilet seat is available in 2", 4", and 6" heights. All three sizes are also available for Standard Round or Elongated toilets. 300 pound weight capacity. Standard toilet seats come with a Slip-In Lok-In-El Bracket that provides a fast, convenient and safe way to secure the seat. Elongated toilet seats come with the Lok-In-El bolt-down bracket that holds the elevated seat securely on elongated toilet bowls: full inner ring contact with the bowl is not required.

All toilet risers that we had been able to find were too tall for Mother's short legs. The two inch riser was perfect; gave her that little bit extra that she needed while still keeping her feet on the floor.

The product narrative refers to attaching it to the toilet, and I worried that putting in place and/or removing would be difficult, since I have others in the household (like young grandson) that would need it off. But the included SLIP-IN lock accessory for a STANDARD seat is awesome--just presses in place before first use, and from then on you just flip up the normal seat, slide the tongue (now attached to Tall-Ette seat) back between the bolts that hold the normal seat on, and you're good to go (pun intended). To remove, just slide it toward you and lift off; set aside until you want it back on. It's comfortable, sturdy and solid (my adult son has sat on it and says he's impressed). Sometimes I notice a little spray--urine from use or spray from flushing, not sure--but easy to wipe clean with paper towel and Windex. I have weakness that made it hard to get up from low toilet; glad to have the 2" option, makes a difference without being overkill. And since nothing is modified on the toilet itself, I can even throw the seat in a plastic bag and take it with me for use on other standard toilets.

As a coordinator of a local non-profit elder home repair program I am frequently challenged to assist the personal needs of folks physically impaired by the aging process. In this case the 2" elevated toilet seat was the perfect solution with an existing ADA toilet where others were too high or insecure. Allegro has been a regular source for more common solutions and it comes as no surprise that after searching the web we found the ideal solution right at hand. Thanks
