I use it for mom in a group home where they wouldn't allow me to change the toilet seat to a soft seat and she complained about having to sit on the hard toilet seat to the point that she didn't want to go to the bathroom as it hurt so much.

Using on a bedside commode for elderly mother. The commode seat was way too hard and this pad makes it more comfortable for her to sit long enough to do her business. Perhaps could have gotten by with the 2" version, but read another review that said it compressed a lot, so left little padding. But my mother is lightweight and the 4" may be a little too puffy for her.

Goes flat to about 1 inch.....

I tried to solve a problem...
Pros:
Reasonably easy to instal.
Best Uses:
Disabled.

Midrange Shopper.
This product comes close to being useful, but needs some improvements. Not all that easy to keep clean, gives the impression it won't last long. However, it's the best of similar products considered for purchase. Not sorry I bought it but will keep hoping for a better solution.
