Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter

The Lightest Bathlift On The Market!

The Drive Medical Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter is the lightest bathlift on the market at only 20.5 lbs. Because the Bellavita is one of the lowest bathlifts available, it is excellent for deeper model tubs. The Bellavita is also one of the highest bathlifts available reaching up to 18.8" from the bottom of the tub. The backrest reclines to a market leading 50 degrees at its lowest position. Completely tool free set up makes it easy to install and operate. The completely water tight hand control floats, making it easy to access the control buttons while bathing.

The Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter two piece construction makes the lift easy to assemble/disassemble for transport. When not in use, the back easily folds down for space-saving storage. Padded seat and backrest provides added comfort. 4 quick release suction cups with option for an additional 2 for anti-slip bath base.

Bellavita Auto Bath Lifter

Pros:
Sturdy. Functional. Lightweight. Easy To Install.
Cons:
Uncomfortable. Not shaped to fit body. slippery. padding too thin. back peice not adjustable.
Best Uses:
Residential. Elderly. disabled. recovery from surgery.
Describe Yourself:
Budget Shopper.

Over all, the lift is fine for getting me in and out of the tub, but their next model could use some adjustments. Due to uneven hips, the padding provided is not sufficient, nor is it able to keep me from sliding around on the chair. It would be more comfortable to the user, if the cushioning was more contoured to fit the natural shape of a person. As it is, it's nearly impossible to reach the grab bar behind me, when I need to get out of the tub, because the chair doesn't swivel, and the back peice blocks my reach. I also found that since our tub has a textured bottom, the suction cups do not stick. Solving these issues would just be a matter of prefference for me, but might be vital for others. The product does what it says it should, so it's got the basics covered!

Auto bath lifter

Pros:
Easy To Install. Lightweight. Functional.
Cons:
All have broken at the sa.
Describe Yourself:
Savvy shopper.

All 3 have broken at the same place, the hook shaped brackets where the back attaches to the bottom. I would like to purchase just the bottoms so that my 3 $900 bath lifter are sitting idle. I rely on this product, but the cost is prohibitive. Can I order the bottom parts from you? And what would be the cost. Contact me at Dr, Karren Newman 407-321-3922 or newmyk@aol.com.

Great product, my Mom feels much safer

Pros:
Lightweight. Safe. Easy To Install. Sturdy. easy to use. Easy to transport.
Best Uses:
Residential. Elderly.
Describe Yourself:
Savvy shopper.

Love this product. After careful research, this was purchased for my Mom who had trouble rising up from the bathtub floor. It's easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to transport if you want to take it with you to another location. The only con, please clarify that it actually COMES with 2 side flaps (1 each side, already installed). The description wasn't clear and we bought them thinking they weren't included. Otherwise, Allegro medical shipped fast and FREE, which was a nice plus. Price was great, as other sites listed retail up to $1200.

Question:
Can this be used as just a lift outside the bathtub? Once in a while I fall and I'm not able to get back on my wheelchair. This seams like the perfect solution to my problem ... it raises you up to 18" which is about high enough to get on the chair ... any thoughts? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Answer:
This lift needs to adhere to something because it is not stable if the suction cups cannot adhere to a smooth surface. I have a tub that has anti-slip surface and I have had to come up with an alternative which is not exceedingly stable, but with a spotter it is safe for my husband.

Answer:
Yes, but it's not recommended. Outside of the tub the lift is not as stable and can easily tip over unless braced or stabilized
