WORKED WELL Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Functional. Lightweight. Easy To Install.
Cons:
Moves on the toilet.
Best Uses:
Disabled. Elderly. Residential.
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper.

Purchased for my dad after hip surgery. It worked well getting on and off the toliet. Doesn't look too bad but made it hard for my grandkids to use the toilet. Even when tightened downit still will slide back and forth on the the toilet rim. I didn't like that too much but it did work.

Excellent product Verified Reviewer

Pros:
Sturdy. Functional. Safe. Lightweight. Easy To Install.
Best Uses:
Residential. Elderly. Disabled.
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper.

My mother needed a raised toilet seat with arms -- this was the first product of this type that did everything we needed it to do -- fit the elongated commode, bolt securely to the commode, provide arms for her to use to raise herself, allowed us to use the regular toilet seat and lid which makes the bathroom decor look like a regular commode. It's a great product -- I like the fact that it is securely fastened via the extra long bolts that run through the raised seat and the toilet seat and into the back of the commode. Thank you for a great product.

Great product Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Safe. Lightweight. Easy To Install. Functional.
Best Uses:
Residential. Elderly. Disabled.
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper.

My mother is 86 and needed a raised seat with arms to make rising from her commode easier. This product is perfect in that it fits her elongated commode and because it bolts to the commode we needn't worry that it will slip or be unsteady. She really likes the fact that she can use her own toilet seat and lid cover along with this product which fits with the decor of her bathroom and makes it look like a regular toilet. Great product I'd recommend it to anyone in need of this kind of item.

Just what the Doctor ordered... Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Functional. Lightweight. Easy To Install. Safe.

This product allowed my father-in-law to use the existing toilet in their home after his stroke as compared to changing out the toilet and adding grab bars.

Works great

Pros:
Easy To Install. Safe. Functional.
Best Uses:
Residential. Disabled.
Describe Yourself:
Practical.

This seat was very easy to install and I bought it because i could keep the original seat and cover; many other seats don't allow you to do that, let alone close the cover!

Question:
How far does the handle extend to the side when it is in place on the toilet? The toilet I have is close to the wall and there is only 5 1/2" from the outside edge of the toilet to the wall. Will this fit in that space or will the handle hit the wall? I see the product is non-returnable so I need to know this before ordering. Thanks!

Answer:
The bolts are long and extend through the openings to secure below. The seat does move a bit, but I've only had to tighed the screws periodically. Overall it is a good height and the handles are very helpful to my mother.
