Three were installed (2-32"/1-12") in the tub/shower to provide stability after a hip replacement. Installation in this 100+ year old house was a pain but after using toggle bolts and pure silicon caulking to seal the holes that had to be drilled they a VERY SOLID and VERY EASY TO GRIP.
