No more using the plastic molded raised seats as a extension to get the height needed. The adjustable legs work wonderful to get the height for a tall person.The seat is more comfortable compared to the molded extention seats. This was a major problem for us.

[...] There could be better instructions. The item purchased is a bedside commode. It came with a collar that fits around the removable bucket, but no directions on how to use it, and no way to secure it to anything. The sides of the commode do fold in but you would have to take the seat/lid off to completely fold it. It can be partially folded with the seat left on. I am satisfied with the product, for the most part. It is sturdy and easy to move. Areas of improvement would be a better way to "seat" the bucket and directions on use of the collar. Oh, and the bucket could be a bit deeper.

 can this all-in=one chair be used in the shower with the bucket? Can you take bucket off and put frame over an existing commode
