We bought it for my wife and since I am the care giver and help her it works out fine. I do forsee that as her health declines, I will need to replace this one with one tha actually BOLTS on where the old seat came off.

Answer:
No, I've worked in the construction industry all my life. Colored seats almost never "match" the color from one company to another. besides they would simply need to charge more for something and it still would likely not match the color toilet you have.

Answer:
We bought the Secure-Bolt Elevated toilet seat for my parents - they love it, and have had other models they didn't like. It bolts to the seat, just like the regular seat, but your own seat bolts down right on top of it. It is also 3", so a little bit higher than this one. . . it works out PERFECT for them!

Answer:
No, you just remove the old seat and lid and this one fits over the tiolet bowl. you just tighten the set screws (manually) and it's ready to use. Remember to move it forward enough so the lip holds it in place in the front of the tiolet,

Answer:
Did you get an answer to your question? I have the same problem with my dad and have not been able to find a product that has a solution. When he sits and urinates, I end up with a wet floor because of the gap between the toilet seat and the toilet bowl. I have looked everywhere to help with this with no luck. Hoping this product solves the problem....if so I will buy it.
