Works Great Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Lightweight. Safe. Functional. Easy To Install. No Setup.
Best Uses:

We have tried several things before this. No setup. I always said why can't one buy a funnal type board for washing hair in a chair. Like it was an original idea or something! Finally, we found what I wanted to make. Only easier because I didn't have to make it! Takes just a bit working out the little leaks arount the neck. It is great for traveling in hotel/motels that don't have accessable showers. I'm very happy with this. Just needs some foam/gasgets for the neck area for smaller/larger necks to help stop leaks. Best so far of all I've used.

Not as good as I expected

Pros:
Functional.
Describe Yourself:
Practical.

This works ok if you have a low wheelchair. Can't get close enough to the sink because of the wheels so the funnel does not reach the sink properly. Need to figure some way also so that the water does not wet the person in the chair. Does not fit the neck very well water leaks through. Just keep on trying different things to make it better.

Excellent product Verified Purchaser

The Hair washing tray is an excellent product. It makes washing my hair much simpler. I am able to put my wheelchair in front of the kitchen sink and have my caregiver easily and safely wash my hair. One suggestion is to place a towel on the neck below the tray in order to avoid the slight chance of getting your back and clothes wet.

neck cutout too small Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Functional. Lightweight. Sturdy.
Cons:
Neck cutout too narrow.
Best Uses:
Disabled.
Describe Yourself:
Budget Shopper.

My husband had neck surgery and also is a big man. The neck opening was too narrow to fit around his neck. We had to cut a piece of plastic to bridge the gap between the cut out and his neck.

I have been using this product for the last four years for my elderly clients. I will not trade this for the world. I have some who have back problems and can't be tilted back so this is the best. I have others who are going to order one for their parents hair as well. Great selections.

Not as good as it is made out to be. Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Functional.
Best Uses:

Does not fit the neck very well. If you use a low wheelchair it could work better. The wheels on the wheelchair do not allow you to get close enough to the sink. It works but it is not the greatest. A lot of bang and not enough whiz.

A Stylist Dream for Handicap Gal Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Easy To Install. Functional. Lightweight. Safe.
Best Uses:
Disabled.

I have ALS (Lou Gerhig's Disease) and bought this to take to my hair stylist because my neck is very weak and this shampoo tray help us both with shampoo. For me it keeps neck from hurting and for stylist it keeps him from getting water on me and the floor and use of several more towels than normal.

Pretty good, but I'd like a better fit Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Easy To Install. Safe. Lightweight.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Disabled. Residential.
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper.

I bought this so I could wash my mom's hair in the kitchen sink. She is confined to a wheelchair. It works OK for that purpose. There are two problems. One is that the rubber edging isn't flexible enough to fit tightly, and so there's a lot of water that leaks around the edges (where the tray goes around her neck). The second is that the lip where the tray meets the neck is about 2 inches deep, and so this has the side effect that it's hard to get to the hair at the base of the back of the head (the tray is in the way a bit). On the whole, if a friend were interested, I would suggest looking at other similar products before deciding what to buy.

EZ Shampoo Hair Washing Tray

Pros:
Lightweight. Easy To Install.
Cons:
Too short. Leaks.
Best Uses:
Disabled. Elderly. Residential.
Describe Yourself:
Budget Shopper.

This product does not conform around the neck so water runs (pours) between the product and the persons neck. its too short so does not reach the sink very well. The person also has to be able to lean their head back or it doesnt fit the neck at all.
