You get what you pay for Verified Purchaser

Cons:
Unsafe.
Describe Yourself:
Practical.

Did not tighten up adequately to make us feel comfortable that the user could lower himself down while holding the hand grips without tipping from side to side. Guess you get what you pay for. Perhaps one of the more expensive versions would have worked better for us.

I just bought the same exact product in the store for my elderly mother and paid almost twice the price in the store. The product must be locked securely on the toilet, and there should be no problem with the safety of it.

WOULD RECOMMEND BUT WITH PROVISO Verified Purchaser

Lightweight. Sturdy. Easy To Install. Safe. Functional.

STAY AWAY FROM SEAT WITH ARMS ATTACHED. NOT ADJUSTABLE. MORE PRESSURE ON ONE SIDE THAN THE OTHER COULD CAUSE SEAT TO DISLODGE FROM RIM OF BOWL.

Compared to other similar products it was more reasonably priced but quality was not sacrificed.

Doesn't fit all toilets!

Pros:
Easy To Install.

Before you buy this, measure the depth of the toilet bowl lip. The locking mechanism works on a 2 inch-deep lip-- my toilet is 2-3/8 inch deep lip.

Just what the doctor ordered Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Functional. Sturdy. Safe. Easy To Install. Lightweight.
Cons:
Make sure it is locked.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Residential. Disabled.
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter. Practical.

I especially like the fact that the opening is a bit smaller than a typical toilet seat. As my father is losing more and more weight with his cancer, he won't risk "falling in" with this.

by clc from Maine
The whole is a little small Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Safe. Easy To Install. Sturdy.
Cons:
Small whole.
Best Uses:
Disabled.

Bought this for my father. His only complaint was the whole for the "contents" is a bit small.

by Keliceli from New York
I do not recommend this product

Pros:
Easy To Install.
Cons:
Unsafe. My grandfather fell.
Describe Yourself:
Practical.

This seat is unsafe, the screw does not stay tight. My elderly grandfather fell when the seat came loose. They should have locks on the back and sides to make it secure. You have to use both hands and keep it level, not good for stroke patients who have paralysis on one side of the body.
