If you can't install grab bars to help you get off the throne, this product does the job nicely. The new design is a little better than the old, but it would be nice if they changed the installation instructions to correspond to the changed design.

Got this for my 87 year old mom who has severe osteoporosis and only walks from bed to bath. I tried it out before she arrived, and felt the legs needed to be 'stabilized' so there would be NO WOBBLE when sitting and standing, as her full weight goes from leaning on her walker to the arm rests of this product.
Of course the product is attached to the rear of the toilet, but the legs can still lift a short way off the stone floor. I fixed this by attaching a bungee cord to both legs, running it around the rear of the toilet base. This 'pulls' the legs tight and prevents any wobble.
So very good product I would recommend.

Very easy to assemble and install. I put it in my mom's bathroom and after a few days she was impressed and very happy to have the unit to help her. Also, Allegro Medical shipped it quickly which was great! All in all a great purchase.

The Invacare Toilet Safety frame is a big help for my husband. It gives him needed support to sit and stand. I like that I can remove part of it when I need to clean. I wish I had purchased one sooner.

The height of an ADA commode even with a Toilevator is difficult for me to use without the product. I have one at home and one at my son's home. It is a life saver.
