Toilevator Toilet Seat Risers Comply with Building Code & A.D.A. Requirements.

Raised Toilet Seats that attach to the top of a toilet have been the norm for situations requiring elevated toileting until the introduction of the Toilevator.

Raised Toilet Seats have had some drawbacks:

  • They are generally unsightly and have robbed the dignity of those people forced to use them, especially when other family members or friends are involved in caregiving
  • Raised Toilet Seats are by nature not very stable and many a client has suffered a fall
  • The majority of Raised Toilet Seats require the removal of the regular toilet seat and consequently there is no lid
  • Raised Toilet Seats require constant cleaning due to the relatively small opening awarded through the necessity of design
  • In the area of hygiene health care workers are subjected to potential of infectious diseases in the cleaning of Raised Toilet Seats

The Toilevator toilet base elevator successfully addresses each one of these concerns. The Toilevator comes complete with all parts required for installation. Installation time is approximately one half-hour and can be accomplished by anyone possessing handyman skills. Plumbers are an option but not a necessity.

Looks Nice - Works great

Pros:
Functional. Lightweight. Sturdy. Nice appearance.
Best Uses:
Knee Problems.
Describe Yourself:
Practical. Stylish. doing thing right.

Blends right in with regular toilet - Helps eliminate the stress and pain on the knees when sitting and standing. I'm sure glad I found this product, because I would never use any of the donut type toilet risers which are unsightly and unsanitary!

Super Solution!

Pros:
Easy To Install. Safe. Functional. Lightweight. Sturdy.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Residential.
Describe Yourself:
Practical. problem solver. Caregiver.

This is the second one of these I've purchased for my 90-year-old mother. Even though we installed handicap toilets, they are all regulation 17 inches high and Mom was having a hard time sitting down. This product raises the toilet an additional 4 inches, is attractive and looks just like it is original equipment. No more stinky lumpy ugly toilet risers that sit on the existing toilet seat, leak and are gross. Wonderful product; I will continue to buy more as time goes by and I need them for myself.

Answer:
Yes, the Toilevator will work with an elongated bowl. Both our bathrooms are handicap-enabled with elongated-bowl toilets, and both of those toilets were raised in 2012 with a Toilevator.

Answer:
My adult son installed the riser for the use of my husband who cannot stand alone and needs lifting onto the toilet. This riser works so well-has a 500 lb. weight limit. Makes access to the toilet a breeze for those who need a taller toilet. We added it to a handicap toilet to make it even taller. Looks smooth and like all one part. Great.

Answer:
Mine does the same thing; and I had the plumbers who installed it come and check it out again. They found no leak. But of all the reviews I read, the suggestion was made that an extra thick wax ring was needed to solve the problem. We bought the toilevator because my husband is severely handicapped in his hands, and we use a bidet that washes and dries. That precludes using a riser that sits atop the bow.

Answer:
Toilets such as the Drake II have aprox. a 24 1/2" base and need a toile- vator Grande for a base. The Toto has abouut 9 1/2" width. The thing I don't like about the Grande spacer is that it is 14 1/2 " wide instead of 11 1/2" but you have to use what works. The basic unit is too short. Also I don't use the foam ring but prefer the wax rings . They don't break down over time. I also use S/steel bolts instead of brass. They don't rust

Answer:
Yes-we have an elongated toilet-The base fits right underneath the regular toilet (has to be lifted). When placed atop the the joint is seamless and between the floor and toilevator is then caulked making a smooth clean appearance. It is very sturdy-looks like part of the toilet. Priced right, also.

Answer:
Allegro Medical is a distributor; I contacted the manufacturer directly and was told that that 500# maximum weight capacity is a "tare weight." The weight of the complete toilet (tank, bowl & pedestal) has already been accommodated, so the 500# weight capacity is the maximum for ONLY the individual sitting on the "toilevated" john.
