This shower chair comes completely assembled and ready to use. It is very lightweight but super strong. I am a paraplegic so I have to have a shower chair, but my wife also uses it because the padding is so comfortable. I highly recommend this chair!

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one lasted 5 years (the frame lasts much longer). Buyers be aware that the screws used to attach the pads to the aluminum frame will rust (which causes severe stains in your tub). I recommend replacing the 8 screws with brass or stainless screws.
Side note: It would be nice if they sold just the pads. The frames are rock-solid and they could easily be reused.

The chair was purchased for my elderly Aunt & Uncle and was a great price compared to all other websites. It has a very comfortable seat and backrest and the chair is pretty stable when used in the shower. It came fully assembled which I at first thought was strange to ship in such a huge box, but it saved a lot of time with washers and bolts if I had to assemble it myself. I was a bit disappointed because the chair was a bit dirty and there was a black streak of dirt on the back of the backrest, almost like it was either a used chair, returned product or display model, but it was structural stable and served it's purpose.
