Comfort Plus Bed Rail Pad protects against the bumps, bruises and skin tears that can occur when skin comes in contact with metal bed rails. Fire retardant polyurethane foam with antibacterial, Staph Chek cover meets California Technical Bulletin 117 requirements. Pads are latex-free, do not interfere with the operation of the side rails, and fold easily for storage. Wash with soap and water. 1 Pair. Navy.

These bed rails fit nicely between the rails and the mattress. After time, the top of the rail pad actually curves over the top rail and kind of forms to make a custom fit...at least mine did. I didn't order rail pads for a long time because I thought they would be hinder some. These are not. In my opinion they are perfect.
