I use the product when I initially go to bed for the evening. I am not sure if I purchased the correct height (8"). I shopped around before I bought this form and I found the 6" available most often but since I am tall I thought I would try the 8" size. Found Allegro Medical great to deal with.

It's great to use while lying in bed. Assist with the back pain. Not too hard or too soft.

Over the years I could have used this!!! After my family's 3 knee surgeries, a broken foot and ankle and constantly trying to stack pillows, I finally gave in and bought this wedge. It provides a stiff support for resting and elevating your legs. I even use it at my back, add a pillow or 2 and I have a back support keeping my shoulders aligned when my rotator cuff acts up. It makes life so much easier. A negative is that, as with most new foam products, there is a chemical smell that I am sensitive to, but I think it will go away. In the meantime I store it unzipped in another room until I use it again.
