Support Breast Cancer Awareness – Buy PINK Medical Products!

Pink is now the official color of Fall.  Fine by me, as long as the awareness of breast cancer and the huge outpouring of charity in October helps save lives.  Allegro sells several products that support breast cancer research and breast charities with donations for every product purchased.  If you are in the market for one of these products, for you or a friend, now is the time to buy – and buy pink.

Allegro’s Breast Cancer Awareness Products

Breast Cancer Awareness Pink 4 Wheeled Rollator – My favorite product.  It has all the bells and whistles (flip-up padded seat, basket, lightweight aluminum) plus, with every purchase $10 is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  The foundation works to save lives through awareness of breast cancer and by providing mammograms for those in need.

Generation Pink Vinyl Powder-Free Exam Gloves- Patented 3G technology with great flexibility and protection.  Latex-free.  Every health care facility should be using these.  For every case sold during the month of October, $1 goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Three Lollies Queasy Drops Pink – Sour Raspberry - The essential oils, herbs and unique delivery system provides relief from the queasy stomach associated with motion sickness and chemotherapy.   A portion of each sale supports the Stop Cancer – Marni Fund for Breast Cancer Research

Breast Cancer Awarenes Pink Ribbon Lab Coats-  If you’re a health care worker, this should be part of your Fall wardrobe!  80% polyester/20% cotton poplin, breast pocket, two lower pockets, 36″ long, princess-seamed back with one-piece back belt.  For every lab coat sold through the month of October, $5 goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Bouffant Caps – Cover your hair with one of these nifty Bouffant Caps and you’ll be helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation save lives.  Choose from the Comfort Ease Bouffant Cap (pictured) or the Breast Cancer Ribbon Print Bouffant Cap (case of 500).

Sweet Relief Duo – Hot flashes?  Night sweats?  Cool down with this unique cooling pillow set.  It’s pink, of course, with a fuzzy flocked back.  Soothing anywhere, anytime. Includes two pillows – Sweet Relief and Petite Relief.  Designed by women for women.  Go Ladies!!

Not in the market for one of these products?  Do me a favor and support the cause however you can.  Even if you can’t afford to make a donation, wear pink and perhaps it will spur someone to do their self-breast exam.  Verbally remind your lady friends and family to get checked.  And you… you do it too!  It could be that easy to save a life through early detection.

My dear friend Laura starts chemo tomorrow, on her birthday of all days.  This is following a recent lumpectomy.  She’s 47 years old and seems to be taking it all in stride, recovering with the help of family and friends.  We’ll be walking for her on Sunday in the Phoenix Race for the Cure.  Please think good thoughts for her continued strength and for everyone you know who is fighting this terrible disease.  If you have a story to share, please feel free to reply to this post.

Have a great day.
