Remedies for Common Skin Problems

Eczema is very common and there are several medical grade and OTC skin care eczema remedies on the market.  Eczema is a family of skin conditions but is generally described as inflammation or dermatitis of the upper layers of the skin.  It can be found in adults or children and it is not contagious.  Eczema is characterized by itchy, red, dry skin on the face, hands, feet, elbows, knees or arms. 

Fungal Infections – Most superficial fungal infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, yeast infections and ringworm can be cured with topical antifungal medication placed directly on the affected area.  Fungal infections are very common and grow best in warm moist environments so be careful and stay dry!  Symptoms range from peeling, scaling redness to itching and burning and/or blisters and sores.
