These features make the Antibacterial Personal Catheter the ideal product for the patient who is at risk from the typical complications associated with intermittent catheterization such as urethral trauma and urinary tract infection.

The unique characteristics of the outer surface of the Antibacterial Personal Catheter provides localized antibacterial activity. Nitrofurazone, a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent with over 50 years of proven efficacy, is delivered to the urethra when and where protection is needed.

A seamless tip and four comfort-sized drainage eyes enhance movement over sensitive urethral tissues.

Does this thing work?


I'd like to think this is an effective preventive treatment, but I'm just not sure. The catheter comes with a rough yellow coating on the lower half of it that increases the diameter almost a size. The coating make retraction slow.
