Work great...cheap
Pros:
Easy Storage.
Safe.
My husband ended up with a nephrostomy shortly after having had a supra-pubic catheter placed. Since it was easier to irrigate the bladder through the supra-pubic (which no longer produced much if any urine) rather then intermittent self catheterization which he hates (irrigation helps keep bladder infections away), he kept the supra-pubic cather in place. He also has an ileostomy (1 bag) and so with the nephrostomy (2 bags) and the supra-pubic (1 bag) he was having to deal with FOUR (yes count them) FOUR bags all the time. It occurred to us that the supra-pubic could be capped off so we ordered several of these plugs...one less bag to deal with! What a joy!

Perfect for bladder stoma or conventional catheter use when a collection bag isn't always needed. Just cap and coil the Foley catheter under or between the sponge pads and all is invisible and comfortable until needed. This cap, specifically designed for the Foley catheter, is easy to use for those that have compromised dexterity.
