We did not use this for urine collection. We used this to collect fluid from a drain inserted into my husband's side following a severe illness. Before that, we used foley bags. They smelled...and leaked because the fluid that was draining was infected and disgusting. The Dispoz-a-Bag was completely sealed off and never had any odor. I wish we'd found this solution months earlier. The Dispoz-a-Bag has given him freedom of movement: he no longer gets stared at when we go out & he no longer has to hold the tube and bag in his hand. The Dispoz-a-Bag is completely concealed under his clothing; does not show its presence when he's walking, standing or sitting; and it doesn't get in the way when he drives or does anything else. I wish we'd found this 6 months ago.
