The Hydrophilic Personal Catheter Closed System Kit by Rochester Medical is more convenient and more advanced in helping prevent UTI's. Medical studies prove that 90 percent of people have bacteria residing within the first 1.5cm (appx. 1/2 inch) of the distal urethra that can cause urinary tract infections during standard methods of intermittent catheterization.

The latex-free, PVC-free Hydrophilic Personal Catheter is a Unisex Closed System, packaged with its own sterile water packet inside an 1100ml collection bag with a pre-lubricated insertion tip that bypasses the bacteria area. The closed System is available as part of a latex-free kit that contains one pair of gloves, two BZK wipes, and an underpad.
