Answer:
This is simply a tube that is meant to connect to the discharge end of a catheter and bring urine to a leg bag. It is not the catheter itself. Not sure how large a catheter it will connect to, but from what I have seen so far, most foleys have a standard connector. This will work with that.

Answer:
It is soft currently. The last tube I received was oval as well which I don't like as much as the round unit. It still is much better than the old latex which would break down and get gummy.
