Liberty Pouch Clean & Dry Male External Catheter

Liberty Pouch Clean & Dry Male External Catheter external design seals to the tip of the penis and directs all urine away from the body, keeping the skin dry and comfortable—all day, every day. Liberty’s seal is made from the thinnest, most translucent hydrocolloid (a non-latex, skin friendly material) ever invented.

How Can Liberty Help Me?
  • Liberty means Bladder Control (BC).
  • Liberty has a completely external design - No moisture comes in contact with the skin.
  • Liberty eliminates problems associated with indwelling catheters.
  • Liberty fits all male anatomy: large, small, circumcised, uncircumcised and retracted.
  • Liberty has a skin-friendly, hydrocolloid seal that moves with the skin as the body naturally changes size and position throughout the day.
  • Liberty is 100% latex-free and hypoallergenic. Liberty’s seal is gentle and will not irritate the skin.
  • Liberty’s faceplate can be detached from the small connection bag, allowing direct access to the urinary opening for men who use an intermittent catheter.

This one really works!

Pros:
secure.
Cons:
None.
Best Uses:
24/7.
Describe Yourself:
user.

This is the first external cath that I have ever found to perform. It doesn't leak or back up.The mfg sent me a sample and I wore it for two days. I only took it off to check my gland for any possible rash and there was none. I also connected my leg bag with a tube extender to the 250 cc bag attached to the cath.Just love it. No idea on how long it should or can be worn.

Great Product. Premium Product!!

Pros:
Security. Security. Lightweight. Safe. Easy to Apply.
Cons:
Difficult to remove. Skin tears during removal.
Best Uses:
Leakage in between cathin. Leakage from bending over. Helps defeat UTI's.
Describe Yourself:
user. T12 Para.

I use these everyday and they provide security for in between cathing that neither a condom cath or a pad could supply. They also cut down on UTI's for me as well. The only thing you have to be careful with is putting them on correctly and taking them off. Put them on as the directions say and don't try to force your anatomy into the device. When it comes to taking it off the directions say use warm water. You can sit there with your hand held showerhead for an hour and it ain't coming off unless it was REALLY close to coming off in the first place. I use Uni-Solve to take it off right before bathing. Wash with ivory or dial gold. Nothing with oils in it and you should be all set.

Caregiver.

After struggling with skin breakdown on traditional catheters we saw this ad in MDA magazine. We tried them & they are terrific... especially if someone has a foreskin. There is no better product that we've tried...

Answer:
Yes, especially if you don't use uni-solve or a similar product to remove it. You can tear your skin easily. You want the tip to fit in naturally when you install it. Don't try to force I your tip to conform to it but let it conform to your tip.

Answer:
Yes. I get about 24 hours out of mine and I'm a wheelchair user,T12 Para. It makes intermittent cathing a bit tricky if you do that but you'll get used to it. They really saved my life. Lot better than putting pads on (only to have them or you instrument move) or having condoms roll off.
