Describe Yourself:
Microbiologist ret. Medical Professional. Athletic.

Clean self catheterization is critical to avoid infections. The broad, flat surface of the open snap cap tube makes it difficult to keep the lubricant from accumulating on the exposed surface of the cap during use. A simple solution would be to use a smaller cap without a broad area on which the product can accumulate. J & J used a small snap cap for their KY product. The small cap worked well, rarely became covered with lubricant, and made application of the lubricant easy. The solution to your problem is to change your packaging.
