Excellent product with a unique feature
Pros:
Shorter tip past balloon.
Short tip reduces spasms.
Cons:
Smaller than indicated FR.
For a 30cc balloon, the tip of the catheter beyond the balloon is shorter than any other catheters that I've seen. This reduces the amount of bladder irritation caused by the tip. This feature also results in better drainage with lower residual volume in the bladder. This reduces the risk of a UTI.
The outside diameter of the catheter is a little smaller than indicated and of other brand catheters of the same French size (3FR is supposed to equal 1mm).
