i have stones would this type be easier to pass them then a straight tip cath? are the holes bigger the higher the number like 14 - 16-18 fr cath

I am wondering also..same problems with some recurring clotting etc from prostate radiation near/on bladder opening. Would appreciate any feedback you may have ...did you try one of these whistlers. Did it work slick as a ...you know what lol.

Answer:
The number eg 14, 16, 18 refers to the diameter of the catheter itself, not the size of the outlet. The smaller the number, the smaller the diameter, hence easier to insert. A coude tip is bent at the insertion end, thus easier to pass for people with enlarged prostates.
