Simply Awesome!!! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Safe. Lightweight. Easy Storage.
Best Uses:
Seizure Prone Adult.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

The helmet is light weight and comfortable.I wish it had hard plastic under the foam but it should be sturdy enough to protect the head from minor falls. [...] I am very pleased

Great item, need it a little bigger! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Safe. Lightweight. Easy Storage. Sturdy.
Cons:
Need larger sizes.
Best Uses:
Autism-self abuse.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver. Mom.

I ordered the largest that you have but it just barely fits my 20 year old son. I wish that it was bigger so I could get it on him easier. Also the neck strap should be padded: it seems uncomfortable and I use a sock with the toe cut out and slide it on the neck strap; but it falls off easily.

Potential life saver Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight. Easy Storage.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Following Surgery. Emergency.
Describe Yourself:
Caregiver.

My 91-year old mom has severe balance problems and is always at risk of falling. She's fallen three times in recent weeks, suffering critical injuries to her head each time. I was at a loss as to how to protect her and was thrilled at finding this protective helmet. Because it is comfortable and light, my mom mostly does not object to wearing it. And the price can't be beat. I'd have given the helmet five starts except that Mom has not fallen since she started wearing the helmet, so I don't know for sure if it will provide full protection. However, I don't see why it wouldn't fully protect her in most situations.

Product good but instructions are needed Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight. Safe.
Best Uses:
Emergency. Following Surgery.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional.

[...]. When the product arrived, there was another delay for the patient because there was no instructions for the care and wear of the product. The rehab facility would not take the patient until they had that. We had to carefully put together the instructions. Perhaps that when a product is going out of your facility(ies)that instructions on the care, wear, and use of the product should be included. This would truly help with DME companies, let alone personal purchases. The product itself was good.
