Pediatric Tracheostomy Collars


Pediatric Tracheostomy Collars is a cotton covered foam neckband with twill tape on the ends. Hook and loop is attached on top of the twill tape and serves to connect the two sides of the collar once placed around the neck. It is a very simple single piece unit. Collars secure trachea tubes comfortably and easily. Latex-free neck band has finished edges which allow the skin to breath and accommodates coughing even with a snug fit. Available in four different sizes.

I've worn a tracheostomy tube for well over ten years. Marpac makes the only collar for these tubes that is lightweight, convenient, comfortable, easy to use, and long wearing. Even with a daily shower, the collar will last 2+ weeks with 24-hour-a-day wear. It dries after a shower in a matter of a few minutes, and it doesn't shrink. I tried multiple trach collars the first year I had my trach tube, and no collar I've ever found can come close to comparing with the excellence of the Marpac collars. I would not use another type or brand of collar.
