Product Overview

Millennial Medical Millennial Crutch In-Motion Pro - Ergonomic Folding Crutches

Millennial Crutch - Folding Crutches

The improved Millennial Crutch In-Motion Pro has been designed from the ground up to address the problems associated with traditional crutch use. Working together as a functional unit, the features of the Millennial Crutch provide for a comfortable experience while on crutches. The features include the large Underarm Cradle, an Ergonomic Grip, a very popular Folding Design and a Shock Absorbing/Power Assist feature. The NEW bracketed handle is designed to surround the body of the crutch and properly displace weight. The inner tubing is reinforced with a grade 6061 aircraft aluminum inner sleeve designed to support the displaced weight from the handle. The Extended Range of the Crutch also fits a larger range of heights than a traditional crutch.

Millennial Crutch

Underarm Cradle:

This unique feature provides for a better sense of stability in use. The cradle feature allows for greater position confidence while in the walking motion. As the walking movement proceeds, the front position of the under arm cradle gives the user forward arm and shoulder support. Consequently there is less reliance on the direct underarm, reducing pressure. Since the user relies less on the underarm support, there is a reduction in back and shoulder stress.

  • Larger area enhances sense of walking stability.
  • Reduces underarm fatigue and soreness.
  • More comfortable and easy to use.
Ergonomic Grip:

The ergonomic grip on the Millennial Crutch is at an angle of 12°, designed to provide the greatest amount of blood flow and reduced trauma to the nervous system. The grip also features a soft sculptured foam handle for comfortable palm support.

  • Designed for repetitive and vigorous use.
  • Allows proper blood flow and nerve conduction.
  • Reduces carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist tendinitis.
Folding Design:

Traditional crutches are awkward to use in crowded settings like in a car, on an airplane, sitting in an audience, or at a restaurant. The collapsible push pin folding design feature of the Millennial Crutch makes using it in public places much more convenient. It simply folds for easy storage.

  • Convenient to fold and store.
  • Easy to carry and take anywhere.
Shock Absorber / Power Assist:

The patented shock-absorbing/power assist feature of the Millennial Crutch increases comfort by reducing stress, fatigue and soreness. The tension of the shock absorber allows the necessary cushion in each step, but is firm enough to provide a feeling of security and stability. The tip absorbs the impact energy then returns that captured energy positively, helping the patient move forward. This reduces back, shoulder, elbow, arm and wrist pain.

I have used "traditional" design crutches and the Millenial crutches, these are by far better. Much easier under the arm, does not put pressure on your wrists, avoiding carpal tunnel, and the shock absorbing feature really helps make them easier on my body overall. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have used this product previously and the new hand grip design has improved. I personally prefer these crutches to the standard crutches because my hands do not fall asleep and I can go further without tiring as easily.

This product is great for those with temporary disabilities, such as sports injuries. As a long term crutch user (59 years)there are problems. Stairs are a problem as the shock absorber has too much give and adds almost 2" to the height of the step. The hand grips are comfortable at first but make the forearms sore if one walks a great distance and, when wet, are slippery and hard to get a grip on. I don't think the hand grips were designed by a disabled person who uses crutches. They are lightweight and attractive but make the clunk clunk clunk noise when walking. I would recommend them to others but not for long term crutch use.

Pros:
Supports Weight. Lightweight. Quick. Stores Easily.
Cons:
Handles come loose.
Best Uses:
Short Distances.

I broke my foot a month ago. have spent two weeks on the "advantage" crutches. I use them all day long keeping all the weight off my foot at work. These are pretty good crutches. Far better than the stock ones you get at the hospital. I wish I could have gotten the correct ones. I never got the Pro despite several attempts to get the correct crutches and the customer service would not help me. The "advantage" crutches are nice, but for[$]more you can get the Pro. Don't accidentally order the other because you will be stuck! It looks like you could easily swap ends and make the Pro. They would not help me. To bad, I went from a pretty happy customer to someone that is not.An improvement would be better mounting system for the handles. They come loose ALL the time. It is just part of my day. Walk a little, tighten, walk and tighten and so on. not a huge issue. just an embuggerence.A medium size. I am only 5'8" and had to order the "tall" crutches. my wife is 5'4" and if she hurts herself it would be nice to be able to have good crutches on hand. but these won't work for her because they are to tall and are not adjustable enough. Again, not a huge deal. But making a product better.

I had back surgery so when I had to have foot surgery, comfort was extremely important to me. I had used the tradtional crutches years ago, and remembered all too well the sore underarms, blistered hands, etc. I'm happy to say NONE of that happened with these crutches. They are very sturdy and the springs took a lot of the impact when I walked on them.

I will be traveling and want the assurance of having support if needed for recurring knee problems. It's a little awkward getting used to - like which arm it goes under takes time and thought- but prefer it over the traditional crutch. When you prop it up on a table it doesn't slide down - when you lean into a cabinet with it underarm it doesn't hit the countertop.
