Millennial Medical Millennial Crutch Millennial Advantage - Ergonomic Folding Crutches

Millennial Crutch Millennial Advantage
Ergonomic Folding Crutches

The improved Millennial Advantage was designed to provide a simple solution for people who don't prefer a spring assist system. The NEW bracketed handle is designed to surround the body of the crutch and properly displace weight. The inner tubing is reinforced with a grade 6061 aircraft aluminum inner sleeve designed to support the displaced weight from the handle. The Extended Range of the Crutch also fits a larger range of heights than a traditional crutch.

The Millennial Advantage Design:

  • Folds for easy travel & storage
  • Comfortable and easy to use
  • Comes in a variety of colors

Anatomical Handle:

  • Keeps wrist and hand in their natural position
  • Reduces damage to the carpal tunnel in the wrist & hand

Combining the folding feature and unique design with the patented handle technology gives this crutch a definite "Advantage" over traditional crutches.

Pros:
Quiet. Lightweight. Attractive. Well Constructed. Comfortable. Easy To Use. Safe.
Describe Yourself:
Long Term User.

I've used crutches on and off for over 40 years and these are a tremendous improvement. They are so light that I can use as little as a single finger to lift/guide to the next step. The underarm design is both comfortable and safer, since it doesn't slip out of place like on "old school" crutches. The hand grip is vastly more comfortable -- I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and my hands and wrists are always a problem. Every step is now a comparative joy. I got the hospital to order these for me and the physical therapists in rehab were so impressed that they're now planning to use them for all of their patients who need crutches. Given my limited hand strength, they are a bit difficult to collapse, as it requires thumb and forefinger squeezing of spring-loaded metal bits. They should be no problem, though, for those with normal hand strength and function.

Did not care for this crutch Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Supports Weight. Lightweight.
Cons:
Hard To Use.

I've been on crutches since 1953. I started with wooden under the shoulder crutches and then went to forearm crutches. The Millennial crutch did not work for me. It was awkward under my arms and began to hurt my armpits.I had to go back to my old forearm crutches. But what does not work for me, could work for you.Bottom line is "personal preference."I am trying to return the crutches[...]

The best pair of crutches I've owned Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Supports Weight. Well Constructed. Easy To Use. Lightweight. Stores Easily. Safe.
Best Uses:
Outdoors. Wet Weather. Indoors. Short Distances. Long Distances.
Describe Yourself:
Long Term User.

As a long-time user of crutches, I've had them all - metal, wood, aluminum, forearm strapped. . .you name it. These, hands down, are the best crutches I've ever owned. They are easy to adjust, light weight, sturdy, and a breeze to use. Plus, their design encourages proper usage. With most crutches it's very easy to try and support your weight with your under arms instead of with your arms themselves, (which can lead to abrasions and very tender muscles and skin), not so with these. I would highly recommend this product for short and long-term users.

ergonomical crutch Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Easy To Use. Well Constructed. Lightweight.
Best Uses:
Outdoors. Indoors.
Describe Yourself:
Short Term User.

these crutches are much more comfortable to use than standard crutches. i think this is because the weight is placed more on the wrist and hand than under the arm. there is still some usual body ache from any crutch usage, but less than i have experienced in the past. my doctor really liked these crutches as well and was impressed that i had ordered them for myself. one note of caution, the adjustment to height, etc. of these crutches is slightly different than the standard ones. the nurse adjusted them as if they were the regular crutches and they did not work that way. i had to re-adjust them according to the instruction book which is what i had done initially.

Almost, but not quite Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Supports Weight.
Cons:
Poorly Constructed. Difficult To Store. Heavy.
Best Uses:
Short Distances.
Describe Yourself:
Long Term User.

The part of the crutches that go under the armpit seem unnecessarily large and bulky. During proper use, body weight does not rest here, therefore this area can be quite small. The bulk and excess padding makes them uncomfortable and they take up more space.
