Cut-out minimizes coccyx pressure. The comfortable Coccyx Gel Seat Cushion is made of 3" (7.6cm) thick, high-density foam with a gel pad in the center. Cut out area at the back edge of the cushion helps reduce pressure on the tail bone and spine. Removable navy cover with fleece top can be machine washed.

This product provides great relief when riding/driving in the car, sitting at my desk or sitting on the sofa watching TV. It's nice and thick ~ much better quality than some others I have used!

I am 29 and was injured 4years ago and now cannot walk. My tail bone has suffered greatly with all the sitting I now do. The cushion has helped greatly and I can also put an ice pack in the cutout and it stay where I need it. Thaks for this reasonably priced comfortable cushion!

I ordered this for my 96 year old mother who lives in assisted living. The cushion is high quality and comfortable for her, but it probably would be better if slightly thinner in depth. She is not complaining, but my observation that in her recliner, it is high and throws her off a little when she stands up. Not sure if they come thinner.
