I sit for almost 12 hours steady a day, while doing lift ups, you still need the support of the Jay. I really like the new gel cushion design of keeping the fluid in 3 specific areas. This is critical for someone who sits for long periods of time. GREAT PRODUCT.

Left Jay 2 cushion but came back!

I am a C4 quadriplegic and my first power chair was in 1995 and came with the Jay 2 cushion, I am in my chair anywhere from 8 to 12 hours daily and never had any skin breakdown. In 1998 I purchased a new power chair and the salesman recommended a different cushion manufacturer . I could not stay in the chair any longer than 4 or 5 hours, my skin started to break down and thank God I purchased the Jay 2 cushion before I developed any pressure sores, I was back in my chair 8 to 12 hours daily without any problems.
