The Relax™ Gel-Air Cell Wheelchair Cushion has a unique combination of air and gel technology to effectively provide pressure relief and comfort to high risk users. When pressure is applied to the cushion, air circulates to each of the cells, distributing the users weight evenly; this reduces high pressure concentrations around bony prominences. There are 34 interconnected air-filled cells, each covered with a layer of pressure relieving silicone based trugel. The Trugel layer maintains body temperature and provides added comfort. The Relax™ Air-Gel Cell Cushion has a stretchy and breathable cover with anti-slip base. Top and Back labels ensures correct positioning and use of the cushion. Replacement covers are available.
