SimplX GFR Gel Foam Cushion
The SimplX GFR wheelchair cushion from Regency Products is a pressure relieving gel and foam combination cushion. The cushion cover comes with a zipper closure and is made of Recovery 5, which is an antibacterial and antifungal fluid resistant material with a non-skid, slip-resistant vinyl bottom. The cushion is available in an 18" wide and 16" deep size with a cushion thickness choice of 2", 3" or 4".

It is 4†of foam that when sat on totally flattens out to thinner than a small town newspaper. can't find the gel.

Cons:
Has toxic chemical odor.
This product is sitting out on our screened patio. The toxic smell is horrible. Purchased an expensive 'odor-free' spray, coated the outside and inside foam area and waiting another few days to see if that helps. So needless to say I have not used this cushion yet. It is a great product if you can get past the odor. I have allergies so I am sensitive but my husband does not and the odor was so intense he could not stand the smell either.

No handle.
Best Uses:

Ischial bursitis.
Middle age.
This cushion would be good if it contained more gel. It feels like all form. The one I purchesed from wound care is excellent except it needs to be 3 or 4 inches. It is heavy but relieves the pressure much nicer for my condition.
The other one from wound care has a small handle that helps to carry it. It also folds nicely in half because of all the gel. It is heavy but would do the job if a little thicker.
