Recent knee surgery has made rising from seated position difficult. Using the uplift seat assist has made a significant difference. I will likely use the seat assist throughout my recovery and beyond.

Elderly. No strength in legs.

I have great difficulty rising. Lift chairs are too expensive, so I was glad to find the UpEasy lifting cushion at a price we could afford. The lift helps when starting to raise up from an easy chair, but the stroke extension only rotates the lift about 30 degrees so it doesn't help me up off the chair as much as I had hoped.

Since it can't be used on a chair with wheels, I have to move my table to the chair, which is not convenient. Great idea, but needs improvement to make it more "usuable".

I sit on my couch the majority of the time and it's a reclining couch. I missed the fine print about not using it with recliners. OOPS, nothing on the web page says don't use with recliners. I didn't think so as I would not have bought it had I known.I used it most of the afternoon and my lower back and buttocks are extremely sore.[...]

As an amputee, it is often difficult to get out of a chair with my prosthetic. The riser seat gives just the right amount of assistance and I don't feel like I'm flying across the room.

Is the seat comfortable enough to sit on all the time when sitting in a chair watching TV. Or do you have to somehow get it under you before you get up? It does not look comfortable enough to sit on it for any length of time. I may be wrong.
