The ADDvox7 Voice Speech Amplifier is a portable voice amplification system that increases a user's vocal volume up to 15dB without any feedback. The 7 watt ADDvox7 is ideal for assisting communication in noisy environments—such as restaurants or crowded gatherings—for individuals with temporary or permanent voice impairments and to help those who rely on an electronic speech aid, voice prosthesis or who use esophageal speech. The ADDvox7 can also be used for tour guides, exercise instructors, tradeshow demonstrators, athletic coaches and more.

The ADDvox's lightweight headset microphone picks up even the slightest whisper and can be comfortably worn for extended periods. For maximum efficiency, the 7 watt amplifier has a built-in high-capacity NiMH rechargeable battery power system for up to 14 hours of continuous use. The amplifier is lightweight enough to wear at the waist.

my wife has als (lou gehrig's disease) and her speech volume and clarity are diminishing. this allows her to carry on normal conversations at home, with the tv unmuted, and at restaurants. we've only had it a few days but it is making her life more enjoyable already. there are cheaper products but the reviews are horrible. i think this is an excellent product at a fair price. very portable. the case hangs on her wheelchair when we are out of the house.

I'm a tour guide needing to amplify my voice when visiting farms and facilities when surrounded by groups of from 1-100. Does anyone who owns THIS particular amplifier like it - why or why not?
