Bed Rope Ladder enables people with paralysis and/or general weakness to pull themselves up to a sitting position in bed.
Its five rungs, made of rigid plastic, 8 x 7/8¨ (20 x 2.2 cm) diameter, are strung at 5¨ (13 cm) intervals along a plastic rope. Rungs have smooth plastic end caps. The rope is looped at the end.

simple is good.
simple is good...no motors or wires or complicated directions. simply a way to sit up in bed and steady yourself while turning. Make sure to attach the rope to something near your hands so when you awake you have access to the rope. great idea sturdy product.

 where does the bed ladder hook? Is it just between the mattress and box spring or do you need to have a bed frame? I need something that will be safe and secure that slips in between the mattress and box spring. For wheel chair access my mother can not have a bed in a frame, the box spring is on the floor.
