Chattervox 100 Voice Speech Amplifier with Headset
The Chattervox is a compact personal amplification system that provides up to 15dB of a voice boost for mild to moderate speech impairments. Simple to operate with only one user control: the combined volume control/power switch. An affordable solution for people with low-volume speech.

I am a teacher with a current voice problem. I ordered it to enhance my voice while recovering. The quality is fine when alone in an open space, usually. But if someone approaches, or if you turn your hear, or if you get too close to a wall or blackboard, the squeal is ear-splitting. It has no function unless perhaps in a large conference with everyone seated. Even a slight turn of the head causes MAJOR feedback. I'm an ex-singer and know how to use a mike, so it's not my lack of experience - this item is just plain BAD. [...]
