I the coach cane by my sofa in the family room.
It allows me to transfer from my w/c to the
sofa and then it helps me to stand up again.
Prior to this I was having a very difficult time
and often fell.

Solid support

My husband has Parkinson's and it is hard for him to get up and down but even though the couch cane doesn't help him much in getting up off the couch it is solid support for him to hold on to once he is standing up and helps him get his balance so that he can walk. I strongly recommend the couch cane as it has made life for him having it there to grab hold much better and gives me peace of mind knowing it is not going to slip or move while he is holding on to it.
