Deluxe Split Top Overbed Table
When the Deluxe Split Top Overbed Table is activated, the 18" x 32" upper table slides either forward or back allowing the 17.5" x 26.5" lower table to move into the opposite position. Automatic gas cylinder lift mechanism adjust from 29.5" to 44.5"H smoothly and quietly. Flexible cup holders are easily removed for cleaning. Molded urethane edge adds spill protection to the high-pressure laminate top. Dual handles make maneuverability easy. Powder-coated finish base is designed with 28" clearings. Available in multiple color finishes.

Storage: Small recessed area for small items like pens.
Casters: 2” twin wheel casters provide smooth maneuvering in small areas as well as clearance under low bed frames.
Frame: Base & columns are powder-coated 11 and 12 gauge welded tubular steel.
Cup Holders: Flexible cup holders provide stable containment for drinks. Easily removable for cleaning.
Handles: Dual handles provides easy maneuverability.
Weight: 100 lb. Weight capacity, evenly distributed.
Base:Heavy-duty U-base designed with 28" clearance provides proper space for positioning of wheelchairs and various seating systems.

 Can this table be set up so that it can go over the bed either from the left or the right?

My husband is a physician, and would like to use an over bed table for his laptop computer, and be able to roll it into an exam room. He would like the small drawer to put small items into, and the drink cup to put hand sanitizer into. One thing we did not need was the split top. We are afraid that there will not be enough room in the exam room when the top deploys. Can you tell me if you make this over bed table with the drawer, and drink holder, without the split top?
