Question:
Why isn't there a diabetic version, not made from cornstarch? My Dad was given this at a nursing home and it affected his diabetes in such a way that they had to give him more diabetes medication than he normally took. When I took him home it was a choice of permanently adjusting and increasing his medications, or not using this product, though he does have dysphagia due to a stroke. I chose to discontinue the ThickIt and return him to his previous medications and dosages.
