Features

Ableware Ezy Sock Helper

  • These sturdy helpers are made of steel with smooth plastic coatings
  • Great for putting on socks, stockings, panty hose, knee-highs or compression stockings without bending or stretching

Product Overview

Ableware Ezy Sock Helper

Ezy Sock Helper

The Ezy Sock Helper for compression or regular stockings and pantyhose assists with putting on socks, stockings, panty hose, knee-highs or compression stockings without bending or stretching. Socks or stockings are simply stretched continuously over the columns and toes are inserted. The continued upward motion of the sock aid pulls the sock all the way on and pulls the stocking or panty-hose up to the knees for final positioning. These sturdy sock helpers are made of steel with smooth plastic coatings.

  • The SINGLE Sock Aid Helper without handles is used by a caregiver to put socks or stockings on another person.
  • The SINGLE Sock Aid model with handles can be used by the person in putting on socks, compression or regular stockings and panty hose one leg at a time.
  • The DOUBLE Sock Aid model with handles helps the same way except you can do both legs at the same time.

Very disappointed with single model

Pros:
none.
Cons:
handle broke off . limited to midlength sock. handle too short.
Describe Yourself:
bad hip.

A person with long legs can't reach the handles. Not suitable for knee length stockings like compression hose or with short socks like anklets. To use you must point your foot into the sock, while seated, and reach over to grasp the handles and pull up. This will be difficult for those with limited flexibility.

This allows my 81 year old father to dress himself. We purchased others that did not work, this one does the trick and gives him that independence that he was striving for. It also provides me with one less thing to do!

I set the compression stockings on the ezy helper for my husband every evening for the morning. It helps him put on the stockings with a lot less effort. Just make sure you have stockings facing in right direction.

Answer:
I have a wide foot, wear a 10 1/2 EEEE shoe. It is a little tight on my foot but I managed to get my socks on without assistance by using this.

Answer:
No, it is not big enough for big men. I wear a 13 but shoe size is not the issue. This thing bangs on my ankles when I try to stick my foot in it. There needs to be a wider version for us.
