Practical for people who tend to push food off the plate because of a lack of coordination. Sanitary food bumpers clip onto any circular dinner plate and provide walls against which food may be pushed onto forks or spoons. Colored food bumpers may be used for identification of individuals or dietary restrictions.


Plastic bumpers fit plate diameters 9 to 11ยจ (23 to 28 cm).

No more food off the plate! Much faster time to finish the meal when Dad doesn't have to 'balance' the food. Without it we may be forced to 'feed him', now he's back to doing things on his own. Don't worry that when shipped it is rolled up in a small circle. After a few times placing it on a plate it works easier. I do center 'tab' first, then right 'tab' and then hold the center tab and stretch the left tab to finish hooking it on the to plate. Got it down to 4 seconds. The kitchen staff wash it with the dishes and put it on the plate before serving the meal. No complaints from them at all.

This simple yet effective food bumper fits most any dinner or luncheon plate, easily slips on and off, and can be tossed in the dishwasher. If I serve any food that my Mom would normally have to push all around the plate before finally getting it onto her fork or spoon, I'll slip on this food bumper. She suffered a stroke and can only use one hand.
