Featherweight Economy Reacher
Featherweight Economy Reachers are made from anodized aluminum and are lightweight and durable. With a high-impact plastic handle and trigger, this reacher also features an extra-depth jaw with a 2.5" opening and rubber saw tooth block for secure grip. Magnetic tip to help retrieve small metal objects and post for pulling items are included.

Due to arthritis and surgeries, my body (including my shoulders and hands) are very stiff and difficult to move. By using my reachers, I'm able to pick things off the floor and reach things in high places very easily. Without them, I would constantly have to rely on other people for help.

This is great for picking up things that have fallen. I have even picked up small pieces of yarn. It picks up bigger things as well as the small. It is perfect for me. The only bad thing I can think of is the string/cord that is tied on the outside. Maybe could have been hidden inside the working mechanism?? Also the screw/bolt on the end could cause a potential injury.

I use this all the time to lift things and reach for things I have dropped. Picking up laundry to drinks to paper to just about everything in the house. I even have one in the car to pick up things I dropped.

the jaw is hard plastic and WILL NOT HOLD hard surfaces so items such as cans and phones and money(coins) are very tricky to get picked up with this reacher. About the only thing it is good for is maybe dragging items close enough to be able to reach with my other reacher that have a rubberized jaw on them :)

I am short in stature and it helps me reach things in the cabinet without standing on a stool which is dangerous. Have arthritis and can pick-up items from the floor without bending over. When my newspaper is thrown behind the bushes I can reach it without scratching my legs or mashing down my bushes.
