Wanted a small, sturdy grabber easily carried on a wheelchair. What we got was an expensive, flimsy toy. The gripper is narrow so is hard to get around many items. The construction is so flimsy there is no power behind the grip so things with any weight are hard to hold on to. I guess is better than nothing - but would recommend save your money and keep looking.

The short length is good for my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair. It is just the right length to pick up items on the floor next to her. The longer reachers are difficult to manuever for items at a short distances. It sits across her lap comfortably without any overhang to catch on the walls or furniture as she moves around in the wheelchair.
