The inconspicuous design of the SureFit™ Clear Food Guard makes it ideal for home use or when dining out. Clear polycarbonate plastic is strong and functional, yet attractive. A snug fit means that the guard stays on the plate securely when food is scooped up against it. Tapered ends prevent interference with utensils. The grooved edge simply slides onto the plate, forming a gapless fit. Can be attached quickly, even by clients with the use of just one hand. Fits plates with a diameter of 8-1/2" to 10" (21 to 25cm). Guards nest together for compact storage. Top rack, household dishwasher safe.

Our severely disabled daughter can still feed herself some and this plate guard is a significant part of the reason. Reasonably priced. Give it a try for people with limited ability to feed themselves. The first one we bought "died" after about 5 years in a hot dishwasher, so I wash this new one by hand.

This fits on the edge of a standard original style Corelle plate, 10 1/4", with just a tiny gap here and there. It fits the lunch plate quite well.

We used this on a corelle dinner plate (10.25" diameter) regularly. It was always hand washed. I noticed stress lines in the center after a few months. After six months it snapped in two when I was putting it on a plate. I wouldn't recommend it for a plate larger than about 8" in diameter.
