The Portable Shopping Cart by Sammons Preston is the lightest of our portable shopping carts, making it perfect for taking on a bus with you from your gated community or city apartment. The basket is still large enough to hold a medium load of laundry or several bags of groceries. The Portable Shopping Cart has a comfortable grip handle and four rubber wheels that allow it to roll smoothly over pavement or carpet. It folds flat for convenient storage and travel. The cart does not require any assembly.

The key feature of this portable shopping cart is it's light frame for easy transportation. The easy-to-carry handbag unfolds into a full-sized roll-about shopping cart in seconds. A zip pocket outside holds a purse, and hook and loop closure at top protects packages. Heavy-gauge polyester canvas bag with nylon webbing handle and 3½" plastic casters makes this cart easy to roll. Solid Blue. Measures 12"W x 7½"D x 2"H when folded, 12"W x 7½"D x 27"H when open. Latex free.

I bought this cart for my mother who is 81 and has hip and other strength problems. She LOVES it! She uses it to get her groceries into the house, and swears its the best gift she's ever gotten. It's light and easy to use and store.

I would say buy a better one, unless it is truly for very lightweight loads. I used it for groceries. I take the bus or walk almost all the time. I guess I should have read more because on a busy city street it had a tendancy to twist folding up one wheel and werenching my arm. It was production getting it on/off the bus when crowded. Finally crosing the street, I hit a small pot hole and that was that! Both wheels broke beyond repair. I will spend the extra money to get a more solid wire one next!!
