Security Pole and Curve Grab Bar
The Standers Security Pole with Curved Grab Bar offers secure, safe support for sitting, standing or transferring. If you have a low couch or chair that has become hard to rise from, install the Security Pole with Curved Grab Bar from Standers! It works great at your bedside and in the bathroom. And because no wall mounts are needed, you can use it anywhere in your home, exactly where it is needed. When you want to get up, use the Curved Grab Bar to rise to a standing position. The 4 handles of the Curved Grab Bar let you 'climb' to a standing position while also providing support as you get your footing. The Curved Grab Bar also pivots, locking in place at 8 points (every 45º). Installation is simple and secure. The floor to ceiling Security Pole is tension mounted and comes with its own wrench so no other tools are required. It is not necessary but, If desired, the ceiling mount can be permanently installed with the included wood screws.

Bought this for my mom. She is recovering from a broken hip. We use it in the bathroom to help her with her transfer to a bath bench. It is also used to assist rising from the toilet. I have to be honest , I automatically reach for it , too. I am 61 & need to protect my back. I care for an 84 year old mom & a disabled 16 year old daughter. This pole is incredibly sturdy , stable & easy to install. I can't find any cons. The price was great.

I use to have a bedrail frame with a swing-out support but the pressure but it put stress on the center supports of my bedframe. This pole elminates that problem completely plus it's more user friendly giving support exactly where needed. With the 360o pivoting curved grab bar, it's a cinch to get out of bed even when laying completely flat on your back. Great Design, Easy to Install, Won't damage or mar ceiling either!

 My husband needs this beside toilet in a rental cottage. Would this be possible without putting marks on the floor and ceiling? Could it totally lift his weight of 225 lbs? I asked this question a couple of years ago, but nobody answered it.

I had someone cut 1 ft off the top and redrilled it for the cotter pin. Worked great.

It is possible to order a piece from the mfg that will go to 10 ft and is just as strong. They shipped one to me no charge.
