Pros:
Extra-long. Safe. Easy Storage. Sturdy.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery. Bad back.
Describe Yourself:
Temporarily disabled. Athletic.

I bought my dad a long-handled shoe horn years ago, but it was plastic and flimsy and about a foot shorter than this one. This one has been designed to enable you to slip on shoes, boots, or anything you want - it's sturdy and very useful!

LONG Shoe Horn Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. LONG very long.
Cons:
Heavy. Not for arthritic hands.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery. Elderly.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional.

Very sturdy, will not crack or bend like other long shoe horns on the market. Best used standing up and by the individual. It will not work for a caregiver to use in putting on another person's shoe. My patient loves it and the long size seems to make it hard to lose.

Too wide Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy.
Describe Yourself:
Athletic.

It does what it's ment to do, but the bottom part that slips into the back of your shoe seems wider than a typical shoe horn. It is also made of steel, so the stiffness of the entire shoe horn causes some pain in the heel when you are slipping your foot into your shoe.
